Kim McKinney - Certified Residential Experience - Business Owner - Mentor

As owner of Advanced Appraisal Services, Kim McKinney has more than 15 years experience from San Francisco, CA to Reno, Nevada. Kim is recognized as an expert in her profession, and employs the latest software and keeps abreast of the latest in her profession and the real estate market she loves.  Kim is a Certified Residential Appraiser with experience in listing, buyer, lender, relocation, fractional, short sales, foreclosures, taxation, estate, divorce and bankruptcy appraisals.  Her peers in the real estate market appreciate her attention to detail and going the extra mile to make sure no stone is left unturned. 

Kim’s greatest passion and love above her real estate appraisal profession is her family. Her husband is Doug McKinney and her daughter is Jackie McKinney. Her greatest joy is when they can all be together.   She’s lived in the Bay Area for decades and also makes Minden, NV her home. She loves travel, fitness and exercise.  She’s completed more than a dozen half marathons, one full marathon, a couple half iron triathlons, several Olympic and sprint triathlons.  She’s even completed a 100-mile bike ride. 

She loves everything about real estate, remodeling/decor (although she rarely has time for the latter).  She has a little Havanese named Lulu that she adores and wishes she could bring to each inspection, so don’t be surprised if she spends a little time loving your little pets.  She keeps telling her husband Doug that she is obsessed with Frenchies but so far a new Frenchie is not on the table. 

She also loves being an Auntie, and her nephew Allen says he will be an appraiser one day.  Kim is super close with her sister Karrie Baker (Allen’s mom) who got her into the profession and has also been an appraiser and business owner with more than 30 years experience. 

And like most ladies, she loves to shop.  Kim and her husband Doug love to try new restaurants on date night. Kim’s husband is owner of 4 Par Home Inspections of which she brags about all of the time.  Kim also loves making new friends and cherishes every new friendship she makes as her time is often limited. 

Jenna Estrada - Appraiser

Jenna was Office Manager for Advanced Appraisals for more than 8 years and is now an appraiser with more than 5 years experience in the Bay Area. If you are lucky enough to have Jenna on one of your appraisals, you will not be disappointed. She is thorough and very detailed oriented. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and friends and being a great Aunty to her nieces and nephews.

Mackenzie Noeske - Office Manager (And Hopefully Future Appraiser)

Mackenzie is crucial in keeping the wheels turning for the buisness. She is Kim and Jenna's right hand and does everything they can't. When scheduling an appraisal inspection, you will most often hear from her to make sure the process runs smoothly. If you have an questions, reach out to her. If she does not have the answer, she will definitely research it to find you an answer. She is a mom of 2 and loves sewing, gardening, and animals of all shapes and sizes.

Doug McKinney

As part owner of Advanced Appraisal Services, Doug helps out whenever he can. He loves to golf and has been working in the building and construction industry for almost 30 years.  He is also owner of 4 Par Home Inspections so if you need a home inspection click here.  From time to time, he will accompany Kim on appraisal inspections.
